NSW Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Classification
Your membership package is classified by the number of games you choose to attend and your choice of seating at the SCG, with equivalent seating allocated at ANZ Stadium
2. Junior and Concession Eligibility
A Concession is available to those who hold a valid Department of Social Security Concession Card or a current Full-time Student Card. A Concession is not available to those on unemployment benefits or Seniors Card holders. You will be required to present your Concession ID upon entry to the ground. Juniors must be under 15 years of age on the 1st of January 2013. Children under 6 are admitted free of charge when not taking up a seat.
3. Finals Ticketing Weeks One to Three
Should the Sydney Swans qualify to play in the 2013 Finals Series, the ticketing arrangements are as follows:
Redback Members are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase a Premium Finals ticket in weeks one to three (one per membership) for all HOME finals.
All remaining Sydney Swans members will have the right to purchase tickets during the Members’ Priority Period for finals that are held in weeks one to three. Limits apply to the number of tickets that can be purchased per member and per transaction. The AFL will provide further information prior to the Finals Series.
4.Grand Final Access
Should the Sydney Swans qualify to play in the 2013 AFL Grand Final, the ticketing arrangements will be as follows:
Each member will have a different priority level depending on their membership package. Any member wishing to take up their priority to Grand Final tickets must register their interest prior to the Grand Final. Your membership type will determine when you register. Further information is communicated to all members in early September.
Grand Final tickets are processed in order of priority. This is as follows:
Priority 1: Redback members, Cheer Squad members, Premiership Club, Ultimate 11 and Life members
Priority 2: Full Blooded members
Priority 3: Red 3 members, Country 5 members, Interstate members, Supporter and Swans Squad members (subject to availability)
All members will be required to register their interest in Grand Final tickets. Redback and Cheer Squad members will register through Sydney Swans Member Services. Remaining Priority One and all Priority Two and Three members must register their intention to purchase via the relevant ticketing agency. Priority Two registrations will be entered into a randomised ballot and will be allocated any remaining tickets available after Priority One members have been allocated tickets. Priority Three registrations, subject to availability, will also be entered into a randomised ballot and allocated any remaining tickets available after Priority One and Two members have been allocated tickets. All members may only purchase one Grand Final ticket per valid membership in the same category as your membership (for example, an adult must buy adult ticket) with the exception that there are no junior tickets for the AFL Grand Final. Juniors can only purchase a concession ticket.
5. Entry Subject To Capacity
Members with unreserved seating packages are not guaranteed a seat nor are they guaranteed entry to Sydney Swans games. These membership types are sold subject to capacity. The Sydney Swans encourage you to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
6. Cheer Squad
Members wishing to join the Cheer Squad must sit within the designated Cheer Squad areas at both the SCG and ANZ Stadium. The Cheer Squad area is in Bay 18 at the SCG and Section 119 at ANZ Stadium. These areas are alcohol free family areas. Members will be asked on occasion to contribute to Cheer Squad responsibilities including banner making, training nights and general support of the Cheer Squad.
To be eligible for Finals and Grand Final ticketing benefits, a Cheer Squad member must attend and sit within the designated Cheer Squad area for a minimum of 9 games.
7. Smart Pay
By electing to pay via Sydney Swans Smart Pay you agree to the full terms and conditions of this program. For full program and competition details please refer to the Smart Pay terms and conditions at sydneyswans.com.au/membership. Competition closes February 28 2013.
8. Nominate Your Mate
Rewards are only applicable to financial 2013 Sydney Swans Members with continuous membership from 2012. For full details please refer to the Nominate Your Mate terms and conditions at sydneyswans.com.au/membership. Competition closes April 30 2013. AFL Authorisation Code: GFSYD13/05.
9. Communications
By joining as a member and providing us with your contact information you have automatically subscribed to our Service related electronic communications Member e-News via email and SMS. Should you not wish to receive communication from us via these methods, please contact Member Services on 1300 663 819 or alternatively unsubscribe from these services by logging in to your Swan-e Account using your Account ID and password.
10. Match day Ticket Re-issue Fee
Any replacement tickets that are printed on match day will incur a $5 match day ticket re-issue fee. This includes, but is not limited to forgotten or lost cards and bringing an incorrect card.
11. General
Membership rights are subject to the policies and operational decisions imposed by the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust and ANZ Stadium. Sydney Swans Limited is not liable to members for matters arising from the implementation of policies by these venues. As a Sydney Swans Member, entry to the Sydney Cricket Ground and ANZ Stadium is subject to the AFL’s Entry Terms and Conditions.
Sydney Swans Limited reserves the right to change all or any of the package details online, in the guide and on any accompanying forms. All packages are strictly sold subject to availability. Sydney Swans Limited reserves the right to decline or cancel membership at any time. Information contained in the 2013 brochure forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
By becoming a member of the Sydney Swans, you are agreeing to be bound by the Constitution of Sydney Swans Limited. Copies of the Constitution are available upon request from the Chief Financial Officer by phoning 02 9339 9123.
VIC Terms and Conditions
1. Junior & Concession Information
Concession prices apply to Pensioners (Aged/Single Parent/Disability) and Students (Full Time only). Please note Seniors Card, Health Care or Health Benefit cards do not apply. Proof of eligibility for concession memberships MUST be available for display on entry to the ground. Juniors must be under 15 years of ages on the 1st of January 2013.

4. Entry to Victorian Games
Members will gain Entry and General Admission with their membership card. Entry is subject to availability. The Sydney Swans are classified as the ‘away’ side when playing in Victoria therefore we are unable to sell memberships which carry reserved seating.
5. Entry to Sydney Games
Premiership Club AFL Platinum, Premiership Club Gold, Full Blooded AFL Platinum and Full Blooded Gold members are all entitled to Entry and General Admission to three games at ANZ Stadium or SCG in Sydney. Membership cards will have a barcode which will give access to three games at ANZ Stadium or the SCG. Entry is subject to availability. In Sydney, to gain free transport to ANZ Stadium members need to show their membership card upon boarding a bus, train or ferry (Sydney Metro only).
6. Communication

SMART PAY TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. By electing to use Swans Smart Pay, you authorise Sydney Swans Limited to arrange a transfer of funds from your nominated credit card for the amount applicable to your membership type and at the intervals stated in points 4, 5 and 6.
2. Should you wish to change your nominated credit card that payments are deducted from throughout the instalment period, you will be required to contact Sydney Swans Membership Services on 02 9339 9130 to update your details.
3. You will be given at least fourteen (14) days’ notice in writing of any changes in the amount of your subsequent season’s membership and in the terms of the Swans Smart Pay agreement. If you do not wish your membership or the Swans Smart Pay payments to roll over into the following season, you must opt out of the Swans Smart Pay system in writing within seven (7) days of receipt of that notice.
4. Payments for all members who elect to pay via monthly Smart Pay instalments, excluding LIMITED ACCESS packages, will be deducted in 12 equal instalments on the 28th day of each month. The first instalment will be debited on November 28, 2012 or on receipt of renewal with further payments on the 28th day of each following month until October 28, 2013.
5. Payments for members who elect to pay for LIMITED ACCESS memberships via monthly Smart Pay instalments (including RED 3 membership), will be deducted in 6 equal instalments on the 28th day of each month. The first instalment will be debited on February 28, 2012 or on receipt of renewal with further payments on the 28th day of each following month until July 28, 2012.
6. Payments for all members who elect to pay via the Annual Smart Pay method will be deducted upon the receipt of renewal. Full payment for the ensuing season will then be automatically deducted on 28 November 2013.
7. If any payment fails to transfer between your credit card and Sydney Swans Limited on the 28th day of the month, further attempts will be made in the next five (5) working days to attempt to clear the fund transfer.
8. If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, a letter will be sent to you requesting immediate payment of that amount.
9. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution for any reason will be payable by you. Payments that are declined may be recharged with an additional processing fee of $5 for each default payable to Sydney Swans Limited.
10. Sydney Swans Limited will suspend or cancel your membership if on three consecutive occasions your financial institution does not honour the payment drawing. A letter will be sent notifying you of the suspension or cancellation of membership.
11. If your membership is cancelled, all outstanding payments must be completed by you until the end of the current season. Should you fail to pay the outstanding amount your renewal for the following or any other season will not be accepted.
12. Members wishing to use the Swans Smart Pay system after the first or other scheduled payment dates have lapsed in respect of any membership period will have the total number of lapsed payments immediately deducted upon receipt of their application and then subsequent payments deducted on the 28th day of each month.
13. It is your responsibility to ensure that:
(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the nominated credit card expiry date change within the instalment program;
(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated credit card account on each scheduled drawing date.
14. If your membership is suspended or cancelled you will not be able to gain access to games, including finals, at the SCG or ANZ Stadium. You will also not be eligible to register for Grand Final access.
15. If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Sydney Swans Membership Services on 02 9339 9130. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.
16. Your use of Swans Smart Pay is entirely at your risk and Sydney Swans Limited accepts no liability for any matter arising from your use of Swans Smart Pay.
17. Sydney Swans Smart Pay competition is only open to those who elect to pay their 2013 membership via Sydney Swans monthly or annual Smart Pay. By doing so you agree to the full competition details available at sydneyswans.com.au/membership. Competition closes February 28 2013.
NOMINATE YOUR MATE COMPETITION CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The Nominate Your Mate competition rewards current Sydney Swans members with benefits for recruiting new members to the Sydney Swans. The definition of a current Sydney Swans member (“the recruiting member”) and a new Sydney Swans member (“new member”) can be found in the following terms and conditions.
2. Rewards will only be applicable to current Sydney Swans members (“the recruiting member”). This is defined as a financial 2013 member with continuous membership from 2012.
3. The recruiting member will only be eligible to receive rewards if a new member is recruited. A new member is defined as a member who did not hold a financial Sydney Swans membership in 2012.
4. The competition opens 10am November 1 2012 and closes at 5pm April 30 2013.
5. A Nominate Your Mate application may be submitted by:
a. Providing the Member Number/Account ID of the recruiting member when the new member purchases a 2013 membership online at www.sydneyswans.com.au/membership
b. By completing a Nominate Your Mate form and returning it via post to the Sydney Swans. This form can be found in the membership renewal pack of current members or it can be downloaded from www.sydneyswans.com.au/membership
c. Providing the Member Number/Account ID of the recruiting member when the new member purchases a 2013 membership by calling Sydney Swans Member Services on 1300 663 819.
6. All Nominate Your Mate applications must be received by 5pm April 30 2013 and must include a valid Member Number/Account ID for the recruiting member. In order for a Member Number/Account ID to be valid, the recruiting member must meet the requirements outlined in point 2 and the new member must meet the requirements outlined in point 3.
7. The benefits for the recruiting member are based on the number of new members recruited. Benefits are based on the state of residence of the recruiting member, and are outlined below. These rewards are also listed in the 2013 Sydney Swans membership brochure, on the Nominate your Mate/s form and on the www.sydneyswans.com.au/membership website.
NSW
a. Recruit one (1) new member to receive a member recruiter badge.
b. Recruit two (2) or more new members to receive a member recruiter badge and an invitation for two (2) people to attend an event hosted by Sydney Swans players. Recruiting members who are eligible to receive this benefit will be notified of the date, time and location of this event six (6) weeks prior to the event taking place. An RSVP will be required to confirm attendance.
c. Recruit five (5) or more new members to receive the items listed in points a. and b. as well as a tour of the Sydney Swans headquarters at the SCG, led by a Sydney Swans player. The tour will take place on the same night as the event listed in point b. The date and time of the tour is non-transferable.
VICTORIA
a. Recruit one (1) new member to receive a member recruiter badge.
b. Recruit two (2) or more new members to receive a member recruiter badge and an invitation for two (2) people to attend a pre-match function to be held prior to a Sydney Swans match played in Melbourne during the 2013 Home and Away season. Recruiting members who are eligible to receive this benefit will be notified of the date, time and location of the pre-match function six (6) weeks prior to the event taking place. An RSVP will be required to confirm attendance.
c. Recruit five (5) or more new members to receive the items listed in points a. and b. as well as access to visit the Sydney Swans change rooms following a pre-determined Sydney Swans match played in Melbourne during the 2013 Home and Away season. Eligible members will be notified of the match six (6) weeks prior to the game, and an RSVP will be necessary to confirm attendance. The date and time of this benefit is non-transferable.
8. Residents of WA, SA, TAS and NT will receive Victorian benefits. Residents of ACT, QLD and international recruiting members will receive NSW benefits.
9. Best Member Recruiter: The recruiting member who recruits the highest number of new members during the competition period will be rewarded with return economy airfares to Melbourne for two (2) adults from a capital city within Australia, two (2) nights’ accommodation in Melbourne and two (2) adult tickets to the 2013 Toyota AFL Grand Final. AFL Authorisation Code: GFSYD13/05.
10. In the event of more than one (1) recruiting member qualifying as Best Member Recruiter, the winner will be decided by drawing a name out of a hat.

Homebake Terms and Conditions
-To be in the badge draw you must be a 2013 financial Sydney Swans member by 5pm, 29 November 2012.
-A total of five (5) prizes winners will be drawn.
-Winners will be drawn at random from 2013 members aged 18 years and over.
-Each prize includes two (2) tickets to 2012 Homebake Festival.
-Prize will be drawn 12noon Friday 30 November 2012. Winner(s) will be contacted by phone and email.
-Prize does not include accomodation or transfers to or within Sydney.
