No. All patrons need to be ticketed. If your child has not been issued a ticket, they are unable to attend the match.

Members will receive a confirmation email once they have successfully completed their registration. Please note, this  email is NOT confirmation of a ticket. A successful registration in the ballot does not guarantee a ticket.

Unfortunately not. To accommodate as many members as possible, in line with physical distancing requirements, we need to spread out more than we’re used to at the SCG. The best available ticket will be allocated to you. Members will not be allocated a seat in their usual area of the SCG.

There are several seating restrictions in place from NSW Health and the AFL and we ask for your understanding and support in sitting in the bay and row listed on your ticket. Once you arrive at the row listed on your ticket, choose any seat but please leave a minimum of two seats empty between your group and the next group.

Eligible Cheer Squad members who are based in NSW and the ACT have received additional information via email. Cheer Squad members must submit their ticket request by 5pm on Monday, July 20.

Following the conclusion of the ballot registration period, entries will be randomly selected and the best available seating will be allocated.

Please refer to the SCG Conditions of Entry, avoid bringing any restricted/prohibited items and read through the below patron waiver.

Ensuring the health and safety of members and the community is our priority and patrons will be denied entry to the SCG and its premises should they have symptoms that may place persons at risk, endanger, or impact on public health.

Patron Waiver

By purchasing or accepting Tickets to an SCG event, you and your guest(s) acknowledge that, even with rigorous control measures in place at the SCG, there remains at this time, an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19. By attending the SCG you and your guest(s) acknowledge that you have considered those risks and your personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that you or your guest(s) may have, and the circumstances of persons with whom you will be in close contact following your attendance at the SCG. You acknowledge that, for a small number of people, COVID-19 has very serious health consequences.  The SCG expressly relies on you to bring this health issue waiver to the attention of your guest(s). The SCG will rely on this health issue waiver and proceed on the basis that you and your guest(s) acknowledge and accept these risks.

The SCG looks forward to welcoming fans back in line with current COVID-19 health advice and Government regulations. They have put a number of game day measures in place to create a safe environment for fans at major events.

You have an important role to play in supporting the SCG’s COVID-Safe Plan and we need your help to ensure we keep our community safe.

Members attending events at the SCG are encouraged to follow these guidelines:

  • Stay home if you’re feeling unwell, have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, or have attended one of the locations during the dates detailed by the NSW Government at this link – including but not limited to the Crossroads Hotel: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
  • Practise physical distancing of 1.5m when entering, navigating and exiting the SCG
  • Only sit in the section and row listed on your ticket but choose any seat in your row – you may sit with your ticketed group but need to keep two seats away from anyone in your row that you don’t know
  • Follow signage and the directives of staff at all times
  • Consume food and beverage in your seat and stay in your seat at all times unless purchasing food or drink or using amenities
  • Practise high-level hygiene, including washing your hands and/or using sanitiser regularly, and coughing or sneezing into your elbow
  • Minimise the number and size of bags you bring to the venue
  • Ensure you bring a valid debit/credit card with you as all transactions within the venue are card only
  • Download and activate the COVIDSafe app to your phone before the game

Yes. Public transport will be available to the SCG. Please note, public transport is NOT included in your ticket.

AFL fans travelling by public transport are reminded that services continue to operate at a reduced capacity to maintain physical distancing across the network. Allow plenty of additional travel time and plan ahead by checking real-time capacity indicators where available as you may need to wait for the next service with available physical distancing capacity.

Due to reduced capacity, queues for light rail services and shuttle buses between Central and Moore Park to get you to and from the venue may be lengthy so fans are strongly encouraged to consider walking via Devonshire St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to minimise wait times.

Remember to practise physical distancing when on-board transport services and to look for the ‘green dots’ to find the safest places to sit or stand. Additional measures and staff will be in place around key transport hubs to safely manage crowds arriving and leaving the game so be patient, practise physical distancing and follow the directions of staff on site.

Visit transportnsw.info for details on event transport services and more information on COVID-19 travel advice.

Successful members will be given an entry time for venue access and you must enter via the gate listed on your ticket. This is to limit crowds at entry points and to ensure physical distancing is maintained. Please refer to the event information email that will be sent in advance of match day to confirm the entry time for your stand/bay.

All tickets will be issued as digital tickets via SMS to the primary member prior to match day. It is recommended that you download your tickets in advance of arriving at the SCG. It is the responsibility of the primary contact for the group to distribute the tickets to other members.

Please note, all 2020 membership cards will not be valid at the SCG until further notice.

Missing your entry time means you may have to wait until staff are once again available to complete the entry checks. If you are running late, please follow the instructions of venue staff.
