Guest Passes & Reserves Seat Upgrades

A guest pass is a free ticket to a Sydney Swans home game provided by Swans Membership in the form of a barcode. This barcode can be redeemed on Ticketek to a Swans home game of the members choice^.

The guest pass will allow a ticket of the same category of the membership to be redeemed (i.e. a Red 11 membership will allow a Red Zone guest pass to be redeemed, a Gold 11 guest pass will allow a gold reserved seat to be redeemed).

Season 2024 members who purchased a Platinum 11, Gold 11 or Red 11 membership prior to January 18, 2024 will receive two free guest passes in their Swans Account to use at a Sydney Swans home game during the 2024 AFL Premiership Season.

20 year+ members also received two free guest passes per member, regardless of their membership type to use at a Sydney Swans home game during the 2024 AFL Premiership Season.

You can check if you have guest passes by logging into your Swans Account and navigating to the Member Barcodes page (Member Zone > Member Barcodes)

Guest passes for Swans home games will appear next to Guest pass and loyalty ticket barcodes.

If you are the primary account holder for your family or a group, guest passes for all eligible members will be listed in your Swans Account.

Eligible Sydney Swans members who receive guest passes they can redeem on Ticketek for friends or family to join them at Swans home games. To redeem these guest passes:

1. Locate your 'Guest pass and loyalty ticket barcodes' barcode/s on your Swans Account.
2. Log into Ticketek and select the preferred match you are looking to redeem your guest pass/s for.
3. Select 'Find Tickets' for the game you wish to attend.
4. Click 'SELECT DATE' from the drop down menu:
   
   For Reserved Seat members - select ‘Date’
   For Red Zone access members - select 'Date - Red Zone'
   
   Enter your unique guest pass barcode/s in the Ticketek 'Password' box. Multiple barcodes must be entered on a separate line. Click 'Unlock Tickets'.
   
5. For Reserved Seat members ONLY - select via the seating map, the BAY corresponding to your membership area to get the best available seat near you.
   
   Please note: some bays have limited seats available due to members occupying these seats. You may not be able to redeem your guest passes within the same bay as your own membership seat/s. In most instances seats will be available in adjacent bays or in the same stand. Reserved seat guests must sit in the assigned seat listed on their ticket(s).

HANDY HINTS:

• If you wish to use multiple Sydney Swans member guest passes, please redeem as a group. To redeem as a group, please enter each unique guest pass barcode in the Ticketek password field on a separate row. Please note, groups are restricted to a maximum of twenty (20) seats.
• Guest pass ticket/s will be issued via your preferred delivery option at least 96 hours prior to the game via Ticketek and NOT the Sydney Swans App.
• Your barcode is the 12-digit number. The two characters proceeding the barcode represent the ticket category:
  Ad- Adult Barcode
  Co- Concession/Youth Barcode
  Jn- Junior Barcode

To upgrade a Red Zone or Swans Pass/General Admission membership:

1. Locate your 'SCG Access' barcode on your Swans Account.
2. Log into Ticketek and select the preferred match you are looking to upgrade.
3. Select 'Find Tickets' for the game you wish to attend.
4. Click 'SELECT DATE' from the drop down menu, and ensure you select the date which excludes 'Red Zone'
   (date/time - Red Zone is only for Red Zone members wanting to purchase additional Red Zone Tickets using their member barcode)
5. If you are looking to upgrade multiple member barcodes, they must be entered on a separate line. Click 'Unlock Tickets' and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
6. The cost to upgrade your Red Zone or Swans Pass/General Admission membership is:
   Adult - $18
   Concession - $17
   Junior - $12
7. Additional reserved seat tickets can be purchased at a 15% discount as part of your Ticketek transaction.

To purchase additional tickets:

1. Locate your 'SCG Access' barcode on your Swans Account.
2. Log into Ticketek and select the preferred match you are looking to upgrade.
3. Select 'Find Tickets' for the game you wish to attend.
4. Click 'SELECT DATE' from the drop down menu:
   
   For Reserved Seat members - select ‘Date’
   For Red Zone access members - select 'Date - Red Zone'
   
   Enter your member barcode/s in the Ticketek 'Password' box. Click 'Unlock Tickets'.
   
5. Additional reserved seat tickets and Red Zone guest passes can be purchased at a 15% discount as part of your Ticketek transaction. There is no discount available on general admission tickets.

HANDY HINTS:

• Non-access memberships (including but not limited to Supporter, Swans Squad and Cyggy Club membership categories) do not include access to any Sydney Swans matches. If available, tickets to Swans home matches at the SCG can be purchased by non-access members using their member number via Ticketek with a 15% discount for reserved seat tickets.

VIC memberships including VIC Flexi, VIC Ultimate & VIC AFL Platinum are eligible to upgrade to a reserved seat at Sydney Swans away matches at the MCG and Marvel Stadium. NSW Premiership Club members can also upgrade their MCG Guest Pass to a reserved seat using the below process.

1. Locate your 'VIC memberships & NSW Premiership Club' barcode on your Swans Account.
2. Visit Ticketek (MCG) or Ticketmaster (Marvel Stadium) and select the preferred match you are looking to upgrade.
3. Enter your unique barcode(s) in the 'Password' box and select 'Unlock Tickets' (or similar). If you are looking to upgrade multiple barcodes, they must be entered on a separate line.
4. Select the ticket category you would like to upgrade to. You will need to select (1) 'Member Upgrade' under each barcode when prompted.
5. There will be an upgrade fee per member ticket which is the difference between your general admission access ticket for the game and a reserved seat. Upgrade fees are subject to the home club and the category of ticket available.
6. Subject to availability, you will also be able to purchase additional reserved seat tickets as part of this transaction.

HANDY HINTS:

• We recommend members upgrade to a reserved seat for Round 1 v Collingwood to guarantee your seat at the game.
• If you hold a VIC Flexi membership and upgrade your ticket to a reserved seat for a game you will still be charged the match access fee by the Sydney Swans the week after the game.

4. Each guest pass barcode may only be used ONCE.
5. Barcodes may be redeemed separately.
6. Red Zone seating is unreserved and availability is based on a first-in, first-served basis until capacity is exhausted. Please note, Red Zone guest passes for Opening Night have reached capacity.
7. To redeem, you will need a Ticketek account.
8. Please only redeem your guest passes if you intend to use them.
9. Once redeemed, guest passes cannot be returned or exchanged for alternate games.
