Member access to LIVE footy is our PRIORITY in 2021.  

Depending on what type of membership you hold, there might be some extra steps for you to complete to attend matches. Keep reading to find out more. 

For fast and accurate communication from our Membership Support team, make sure we have a valid email address for you by updating your personal information in your Swan-e Account. 

 

Queensland members

Sydney Swans members with HOME MATCH ACCESS entitlements who live in Queensland or Northern NSW will be able to redeem a ticket to attend Round 19 Sydney Swans v Fremantle, Sunday July 25, 12:30pm at Metricon Stadium using their Sydney Swans membership.

Eligible members have been sent their barcodes and redemption information via email.

Tickets are available for redemption via Ticketek on Wednesday, July 21 at 10am AEST. Tickets for general public will go-sale the same day at 12pm.

Additional tickets will be available to purchase if you would like to bring along family or friends.

Sydney Swans members with HOME game entitlements in Sydney

For members in NSW if you’d like to share your membership with friends or family in Queensland for this Sunday’s game to help give us a home game atmosphere at Metricon Stadium, please complete this form and we’ll send your barcode to you to forward on.

Under the SCG’s COVID Safe plan at 100% capacity, Sydney Swans Red Zone members are required to redeem tickets FREE OF CHARGE for seating in the Sydney Swans Red Zone for each match you wish to attend.  

Instructions on how to redeem your Red Zone tickets will be emailed to eligible members prior to each Sydney Swans home game. You can also access your barcode(s) and instructions via your Swan-e Account.

Redemption is via Ticketek. You will be issued a reserved seat on a first in best dressed basis until the allocation is exhausted. 

If you wish to attend matches with other Red Zone members please redeem as a group.

Accessible seating will be available for redemption, information will be provided in the email outlining the redemption process. 

Red Zone Guest Passes:

You can purchase up to two (2) Red Zone guest passes, subject to availability. Please note: the quantity of total guest passes will be limited to ensure access is prioritised for Swans members.

Flexi Reserved Seat members can attend Sydney Swans home games using their mobile membership card in the Sydney Swans App.

Flexi members will be charged a match fee^ (using your nominated credit/debit card in your Swan-e Account) within five (5) working days following each game.

Not coming to a Sydney Swans home game? 

To avoid being charged a match fee^ you must return your seat. Once you have returned your seat for a match, your mobile membership card will not permit access to the venue and you waive all access to the seat for the relevant match.

If you do not return your seat, this indicates your intention to use the reserved seat and you will be charged the match fee^ on the credit/debit card on file within five (5) working days following the match.

To return your seat, please do so by 9am on the business day before each game.

Steps:

  1. Login to your Swan-e account and select My Tickets
  2. Select the match you wish to return
  3. Click on the Return icon
  4. Select the seat/s you wish to return and click continue
  5. Select the Seat Return box and hit continue
  6. Click Submit

^Platinum match fee
Adult: $35 per game
Concession: $25 per game
Youth: $17 per game
Junior: $10 per game

Gold match fee
Adult: $25 per game
Concession: $17 per game
Youth: $7.50 per game
Junior: $5 per game

At 100% capacity, Sydney Swans Platinum 11 and Gold 11 members can use their mobile member cards and sit in their allocated reserved seats. 

Flexi PAYG members will need to notify us if you are NOT planning to attend to avoid being charged. Instructions on this process will be sent via email.

Mobile membership card tickets are issued GAME BY GAME. Please make sure you download your mobile membership card tickets in advance of EACH GAME you plan to attend.

 

Under the SCG’s COVID Safe plan at 100% capacity, Sydney Swans General Admission members will be required to redeem tickets FREE OF CHARGE for seating in the General Admission area for each match you wish to attend.  

Instructions on how to redeem your General Admission tickets will be emailed to eligible members prior to each Sydney Swans home game. You can also access your barcode(s) and instructions via your Swan-e Account.

Redemption is via Ticketek. You will be issued a reserved seat in Bays 14 – 18 on a first in best dressed basis until the allocation is exhausted. 

If you wish to attend matches with other General Admission members please redeem as a group. 

Accessible seating will be available for redemption, information will be provided in the email outlining the redemption process.

Additional Tickets:

During the redemption process you will also be able to purchase additional General Admission tickets subject to availability.  

VIC Gold and Interstate members with SCG games included in their membership should refer to the GENERAL ADMISSION member instructions and information to redeem tickets to attend SCG matches. 

VIC Premiership Club members should refer to the RED ZONE member instructions and information to redeem tickets to attend SCG matches. 

All Victorian members with SCG match access will receive the information corresponding with their membership type on how to redeem tickets via email prior to the opening of the redemption process for each Sydney Swans HOME game. 

Redemption will be first in best dressed until the allocation is exhausted. 

 

VIC AFL Platinum members will have access to the AFL reserve for Swans matches at MCG and Marvel Stadium, and non-Swans matches at the MCG.  

During each round eligible match access members will receive an email to their nominated email address to outline the dates, times and information on how to redeem tickets included in your Sydney Swans membership. 

Redemption will be first in best dressed until the allocation is exhausted. 

VIC Gold, VIC Gold Premiership Club, VIC Silver and VIC 3 Digital members will be classified as AWAY team members during ticket on-sale periods for matches where Sydney Swans are a participating club at MCG and Marvel Stadium. 

In the week leading into games featuring the Sydney Swans at the MCG and Marvel Stadium eligible match access members will receive an email to their nominated email address to outline the dates, times and information on how to redeem tickets included in your Sydney Swans membership. This email will also include your BARCODE NUMBER(s).

Handy hints: When redeeming through Ticketek select ‘Sydney Swans allocation’ and then select ‘General Reserve’ to avoid additional charges. You can also upgrade your seating by selecting ‘Best Available’ seats.

Interstate members in QLD, WA and SA will be offered priority booking for tickets in your HOME state for matches where the Sydney Swans are participating. 

Please keep in mind, as the away team, the Club receives a limited number of tickets at each interstate venue and ticket prices are set by the HOME team. 

If more than one match is played in the state, our priority is to ensure as many members as possible can attend a minimum of one (1) match. If a member from that state has already obtained a ticket to Sydney Swans away match in that state, they will only receive a booking opportunity should tickets still be available after any member who didn’t obtain a ticket to the first game is given first opportunity to purchase for the second match.

Booking information will be sent to eligible members via email in advance of on-sale dates and times. 

In 2021, we’re adjusting for a new normal and delivering your member card via the Sydney Swans App. Reserved seat holders will be able to forward their member cards to friends direct from the App by following the prompts.

PLEASE NOTE: To avoid confusion Mobile member cards for Red Zone and General Admission members have been deactivated while they can’t be used for match access. Once we can use them for access they will be activated for your use.

A reminder your mobile membership card tickets are issued GAME BY GAME. Please make sure you download your mobile membership card tickets in advance of EACH GAME you plan to attend.

Can’t make it to a game? We’ve made it easy for you to forward your membership ticket to your friend/s or family member/s.

Ensure the recipient accepts and downloads the tickets to their wallet by 9am on the day of the match.

Information on how and when you can obtain tickets to matches at other venues around Australia will be provided to eligible members via email if as a member you have access to the right to purchase or attend included in your membership.

The SCG’s COVID- Safe plan requires all patrons to be issued a seat. If contact tracing was required, this will ensure as few people as possible would be impacted as we can narrow your seating down by Bay, Row and Seat. 

If you have accessible seating requirements, or hold a Companion Card, please complete Ticketek’s Accessible Seating form here.  

Due to COVID Safe plans at some venues around the country including the MCG and Marvel Stadium all patrons are required to have a ticket to attend. This includes babies who don’t occupy a seat. Please make sure you read information thoroughly when redeeming or purchasing tickets at specific venues to ensure you have the correct number of tickets.

Due to COVID-Safe plans at venues around the country – the way to obtain tickets or entry to games as a member has gone digital.

If you know of a Swans member who is not as digitally connected, please reach out to them and let them know help is available.

Membership Support can provide assistance to redeem tickets or download mobile membership cards. Alternative options can also be made available to ensure all Sydney Swans members gain access to matches they are entitled to as part of their membership.

As of round 9 Red Zone members are no longer able to redeem with SCG members. This is to ensure Sydney Swans Red Zone members get fair access to seats exclusively available for their use.

We are optimistic that members will be back in the stands to cheer the team to victory in 2021, but it may take time for footy to return to what we knew before COVID-19.

We will continue to work with health authorities to welcome crowds safely, and as such, there may be extra measures in place on match day. These details will be communicated as we get closer to Round 1.

If there is an interruption to the season, we will provide all match-access members with a range of options to address any material reduction in their match-access benefits. In 2021, more member benefits will be sent straight to you, including your Member cap or beanie and we will continue to focus on exclusive news, content and events to ensure you have an elevated experience as a member of the team. We’ve also introduced some new membership options for those seeking more flexibility in 2021.

We’ve extended the reserved seat deadline and loyalty discount until March 1, 2021, and we have introduced Flexi membership packages in Sydney and Melbourne to allow you to pay for matches as you go.

Yes, and we will continue to work with relevant government and health authorities to ensure we can welcome crowds safely. Match access members will be given priority to attend under reduced capacity restrictions. Additional booking or registration processes may be required. Best endeavours will be made to ensure 11 game members will be given first access to the equivalent seating category they purchased.

For our away games in Victoria, it will be important for members with eligible match access entitlements to action their redemption during the specified time, otherwise you may miss out on tickets. 

Redemption will be first in best dressed until the allocation is exhausted.

If you held a reserved seat membership in 2020 and you pledged, adjusted or downgraded your membership, your reserved seat is available for you to renew for the 2021 season. Reserved seat memberships must be renewed by March 1, 2021 to guarantee your seat. If you wish to change seats or select a different membership, please contact Membership Support on (02) 9157 5020 10am-4pm Monday to Friday or email swansmembership@sydneyswans.com.au.

Member packs, including your choice of cap or beanie have been sent from March 2021 to the postal address listed on your membership account.

If you joined before March 2, you should have already received your pack.

If you joined between March 2 – March 31 your pack is currently processing, stay tuned to your email inbox to track delivery.

Joined from April onwards? Packs will be processed within 14 business days of purchasing.

You can select a cap or beanie when you renew or sign up online, or by contacting Membership Support.

In 2021, all member cards will be delivered digitally via the official Sydney Swans app. This will allow flexibility for match attendance.
