Can I travel to/from the domestic or international Airport station?

Patrons presenting membership cards or tickets for travel to, or from, the Airport’s domestic or international train stations will need to pay the airport station access fee. The new travel deal does not include the station access fee for these two stops.

You can take the train through these stations, but if patrons board or disembark at one of the two airport stations, they will need to use their Opal/Credit Card to pay the full station access fee.

Does this apply to all home games at the SCG?

Yes. It will also apply to any home finals the Swans might host at the SCG.

Does this apply to away games where the Sydney Swans are playing?

No, return public transport in included for Sydney Swans home games at the SCG only. Away game transport information will be available on the match day page of the Sydney Swans website and will always include relevant details on the upcoming match.

How do you board public transport?

You simply show your membership card or ticket (either in hard copy or on mobile) to the attendant.

How do patrons who do not have public transport included in their membership or ticket access public transport?

These patrons simply use their Opal Card (or credit card on services where this is applicable) to pay for their transport.

Are there time restrictions to get to the SCG?

Those holding eligible membership cards or tickets are able to access return public transport for the full day of the home match on relevant transport services to and from the SCG up until four hours on the day immediately following the match.

What if I am collecting my ticket at the venue?

Patrons must be in possession of an eligible membership card or ticket (either in hard copy or on mobile) to access the return public transport that is included. Wherever possible, tickets should be collected in advance to avoid having to use an Opal Card/Credit Card to board public transport.

Will the light rail be running for the Sydney Swans’ first home game and will it be included?

Yes. L2, the Randwick line of the Light Rail will commence services in December, 2019. L3, the Kingsford line of the Light Rail will commence services in early March, 2020. Both the L2 and L3 services stop at Moore Park.

What is the Light Rail Stop closest to the SCG called?

Moore Park.

Do all light rail trams stop at Moore Park?

Yes.

Are extra light rail services put on for SCG home games?

Yes. In addition to the regular services along L2 and L3, additional shuttles will be put on for all major events between Circular Quay, Central and the SCG.

Will there be occasions when the Circular Quay Light Rail stop will not be open?

Yes. When there are major events and festivals, such as Vivid, the Circular Quay light rail station will be closed, and all services will commence further along George Street. Specific details will be available at www.transportnsw.info in the lead up to specific events.

Will route 1 (from Central) and route 3 (from Circular Quay) buses be running in 2020?

No. Light rail services will replace the shuttle buses which have been in place in previous years.

Will parking be reduced as a result of the change?

No. In 2020, match-day parking will remain as per previous seasons with the below options available to patrons as user pay car parks:

  • EP2 – Driver Avenue, Moore Park Road end
  • EP3 – Driver Avenue, Lang Road end
  • Entertainment Quarter Car Park
