Ticket Access to up to 11 matches in the AFL Reserve including all Swans matches at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, and non-Swans matches at the MCG**

TICKET ON-SALE

Tickets for games at the MCG and Marvel Stadium will go on sale to AFL and Sydney Swans Members on Tuesday, February 27. See here for specific details for each venue.

VIC AFL Platinum members can access either the Club Member pre-sale OR the AFL Reserve on-sale, depending on where you would like to sit for the specific match.


ROUND 7 v HAWTHORN - updated April 10, 2024

  • Round 7 Hawthorn v Sydney Swans - as a competing team, VIC AFL Platinum members can scan in to General Admission using their mobile member ticket via the Sydney Swans App*. If you would like to sit in the AFL Reserve, you MUST upgrade your ticket via Ticketek using your 12-digit barcode.
    *General admission is subject to capacity and is not guaranteed.


ROUND 8 - CARLTON v COLLINGWOOD

  • IMPORTANT AFL Reserve tickets for the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season match – Carlton v Collingwood on Friday, 3rd May at the MCG are sold out. AFL Members must hold an upgraded Ticketek ticket to attend the match, with no general admission scanning available on match day.

Important information about how to use your VIC AFL Platinum membership at the MCG and Marvel Stadium

MCG


  • At the MCG, VIC AFL Platinum members receive general admission access to the AFL Reserve (entry via Gates 6 & 7)
  • When the Sydney Swans are the away team, VIC AFL Platinum members are able to enter via the AFL Reserve OR the Public gates
  • For all other games where Sydney is not the away team, VIC AFL Platinum members will only be able to enter via the AFL Reserve (entry via Gates 6 & 7)
  • The AFL Reserve spans all levels of the MCG, on the wing of the stadium in the Shane Warne Stand.
  • VIC AFL Platinum members can upgrade to a reserved seat within the AFL Reserve for an additional fee ($10.90)
  • VIC AFL Platinum members can also upgrade to a reserved seat in the Club Member/General Public event on Ticketek and purchase additional seats for guests in the same transaction.
  • VIC AFL Platinum members can purchase guest pass via Ticketek using their VIC AFL Platinum barcode to sit with them in the AFL Reserve GA area. 
  • Guest pass access depends on the match and is confirmed before each on-sale (including max guest passes available for purchase). This will also be listed on Ticketek for each specific match.
  • The location of the GA/Reserved seats in the AFL Reserve for each game varies match by match. The AFL will update these details the week of the game here.
  • In most cases, Level 2, 2a and 1 (undercover) are sold as reserved seats for most matches.

  • At Marvel Stadium, VIC AFL Platinum members receive general admission access to the below areas for Swans away games only (entry via any general admission gate):
    • General Admission areas of Marvel Stadium (usually level 3)
    • Aisles 9-16 on Level 1 (the "Reserve"). IMPORTANT - if a VIC AFL Platinum member only wants to sit in this area, it is recommended the member upgrade to a reserved seat via Ticketmaster into these bays. This will incur an additional fee.
  • If VIC AFL Platinum members wish to purchase guest passes for family and friends to attend with them in GA, they just need to purchase a regular GA ticket, but DO NOT use their VIC AFL Platinum barcode (as this will upgrade them to a reserved seat)
  • All General Admission areas at Marvel Stadium are the same for AFL Members / club members / general public
  • VIC AFL Platinum members can upgrade to a reserved seat at Marvel Stadium for an additional fee, and purchase additional reserved seats for their guests in the same transaction outside of the "Reserve"
  • Reserved seats are generally found on Level 1 and Level 3 - but can vary per game. 
  • Ticket limits for guest passes vary at Marvel Stadium (Ticketmaster) based on the game

ACCESS TO NON-SWANS GAMES AT THE MCG

  • As a VIC AFL Platinum member, you also have access to five matches at the MCG when the Sydney Swans are not playing.
  • To attend a non-Swans match, you will be able to download a mobile member ticket via the official Sydney Swans app and scan it at the gate.
  • If you wish to upgrade to a reserved seat or secure additional tickets to non-Swans matches, see below the on-sale dates and times You will need to enter your barcode to access the pre-sale on Ticketek.

  • Reminder: The ANZAC Day fixture is not included in your membership.
AFL RESERVE ON-SALE DATES
Marvel Stadium on-sale dates noted in the above is for access to tickets to Swans away games. Your VIC AFL PLatinum membership does not allow access to non-Swans games at Marvel Stadium.



Conditions

NOTE: Members who hold a 2024 membership with access to Swans away matches at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, your entry into these games are subject to capacity. To guarantee your ticket to a game we recommend you upgrade to a reserved seat.

We also encourage you to buy tickets for your family and friends in the member pre-sale. When entering your barcode, please remove the two characters preceding the 12-digit number.

Tickets for rounds 16 onwards will go on-sale once confirmed.
